Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, otherwise known as the corona virus, we are now taking payments and new customer sign ups online or by phone only until further notice.  No in-person payment or signups will be taken.  For payments you can use our website or call 732 462 1001.  For new customer signups, please call 732 462 1001.  Customer service hours are 8am-4pm.

Entry to the Solid Waste Building is now SUSPENDED until further notice.

Freehold Cartage is closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 in our community.  we are making the health and safety of our drivers, helpers, and our customers our highest priority and are taking several new precautions.  The following are guidelines for our services.


Freehold Cartage will ensure that your current regular household waste collection services will continue to the best of our ability.  The following are guidelines for our residential service.


  • All trash and refuse must be bagged and sealed.
  • For toter customers, all trash must be placed within the toters.




Effective immediately, Freehold Cartage has temporarily suspended the collection of bulk waste.Items for collection like appliances, carpet, mattresses, and furniture will be resumed after the NJ health crisis has subsided.


We are taking these precautionary steps to minimize exposure to items that may cause the spread of the virus.  When the situation returns to normal, we will return to full

In an effort to control costs and maintain our competitive rates, Freehold Cartage is advising our customers that all residential trash must be placed curbside the night prior to your regularly scheduled pickup.  We will no longer be able to accommodate missed pickups due to trash being placed curbside late.
